Last Airbender Style Guide.
Following a resurgence of popularity, I was tasked with creating a supplemental style guide that dug deeper into the lore of ATLA to provide assets that spoke to the characters’ personalities and fan favorite moments in an authentic way.
In addition to bringing in specific story moments, one of the core purposes this guide addressed was the need to have a flexible, iconic design system that allowed licensing partners to remix art to extend the product lines. A modular system was developed, focusing on icon and frame use, that when coupled with character art, can be remixed into many designs.
