Star Trek Universe Packaging Guidelines.
The mission was to boldly go where no packaging system has gone before: A universal branding and packaging system that encapsulates the whole of the Star Trek franchise, while allowing flexibility for each show and movie to be represented with its own iconic images. This guide showcases a packaging system within which all Star Trek series, films, books, games, and more can cohesively live as a unified brand.
The system was developed around the spirit of exploration and progress, using vast space fields and dramatic nebulas as the main fills. Technical design language is featured throughout the communications, frames, and structures, nodding to the Sci-Fi roots of the franchise. Individual show and movie key art is brought in the system via custom rendered character art and ship images.
