Avatar Aang - CP Style Guide.
I had the pleasure of leading the development of the Avatar Aang theatrical guides for all product development, retail marketing, and consumer products packaging touch points.
Given the widespread appeal and successes of previous avatar programs in retail, we need to find a way to represent the new theatrical in consumer products that felt both fresh (to reflect the content), and familiar (to relate to the larger franchise).
Using the sensibilities established in the core franchise CP guides, and leaning on new artistic expressions and styles, we were able to deliver a fresh experience that continues the legacy of a truly remarkable franchise.
I am eternally grateful to Avatar Studios, and all the artists involved, for their direct support in this endeavor. Being a fan of the original series and all iterations that followed, it was a true labor of love.
